Who Is Eligible?
The Northstars Bantam Football Program is available to boys and girls who are 13, 14, or 15 years of age as of December 31 of the current football season. Players must not be going into Grade 10 in September.
Our team boundaries encompass Sherwood Park and most of the populated area of the County of Strathcona (that area south of Highway 16). We can also accommodate players from outside these boundaries, provided that they do not live in an area that falls within another CDMFA team's jurisdiction. The exception to this rule is that you can ask that the Northstars request a release from the team within whose boundaries that you live. This release, if approved, will then allow you to become a Northstar. CDMFA makes the final decision on whether or not player releases are approved; however, it's been our experience that most are.
How Do I Register?
Bantam registration commences in the spring.
